Lara Lunow

The French word chatelaine means ‘key-holder of a chateau', referring to either the housekeeper or the owner.  Lara Lunow is both at a gorgeous chateau in rural Burgundy.

Lara's Chateau de Percey (built in 1763) can be found in a hamlet in northern Burgundy. At 16, she was sent from the Netherlands to France to learn French in a little village on the Loire, which has a small chateau. There she saw that it really is possible to live the life of a princess - even for an ordinary girl.  You too can stay at the Chateau, where Lara offers several gites, lovely gardens, function rooms, afternoon tea and table d'hotes.
